EDUCATION EARLY ON IS KEY
Each year, approximately 70 thousand men and women age 15 to 39 are diagnosed with cancer in the US with breast cancer leading the charge. Out of all cases of breast cancer, 1 in 233 occur in women age 39 and younger. For young people age 39 and under, breast cancer screening, education, and prevention methods are not discussed, commonly recommended, or spoken about by most breast cancer non-profits. This is where we come in.
GRASSROOTS IS WHERE IT’S AT
The Traveling Education Booth brings breast cancer education to young people on their own turf. It is our grassroots, touring and interactive education platform and teaching tool that brings our message of breast cancer awareness and prevention directly to young people at the events they attend. We believe and know it is an accessible “first step” to awareness and support. The key to encouraging young people to participate and learn is to choose environments where they are already comfortable. This is why we spend time establishing an influential presence at major music festivals, action sports, and arts events worldwide.
