Lorene Carpentier - Global CEO A native of France, Lorène Carpentier has traveled the world as a nurse and a photographer focused on causes related to social justice like modern slavery in Haiti and Mauritania. In 2006, she befriended beloved surf icon and breast cancer survivor Robin Zeuf Hesson in California, and developed a deep connection with her. Inspired, the following year Lorène became involved with The Keep A Breast Foundation, and worked diligently to develop the organization in Europe. Lorène was named Global CEO of the non-profit in January 2014, and remains committed to educating youth about breast cancer, prevention and early detection.
Melanie Pierce - Community Outreach Director Melanie’s path to Los Angeles as Keep A Breast’s Community Outreach Director came about during her time in a southern California beach town where she became deeply rooted in the then-novel, now-burgeoning craft beer community. Leveraging her long-standing, sincere relationships with dozens of breweries and their brewers, Melanie was able to create one of the first beer festivals to benefit a nonprofit organization. She called it Brewbies®. To date, Brewbies® is looking forward to its 9th year, is now held in two cities, and has raised over $350,000 for KAB. She loves to explore new breweries and beer styles, even boasting two beers on draught at home, which she shares with her partner, Jay, and their 5 year old rescued pup, “Street Dog”.

James Narron - Board Of Directors Chairman, President Senior Vice President and National Cash Product Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, James Narron holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Rockhurst University and a master’s degree in international business studies from the University of South Carolina. Jim joined the Keep A Breast Board of Directors in December 2014. He is a two-time national qualifier in the XTERRA off-road triathlon series. He is also the former Vice-Chair of the Maura Clarke-Ita Ford Center in Brooklyn, an organization that equips immigrant women with the skills they need to thrive in the United States.
Mona Mukherjea-Gehrig - Founder & Board Of Directors Member After relocating to California in 1994, Berlin native Mukherjea-Gehrig co-founded the global non-profit The Keep A Breast Foundation and the art organization Modart. She has spent the last 15 years creating and designing concepts which have resulted in internationally recognized artistic experiences and high-quality event productions. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, Mona has embraced her new journey in life as a survivor; a mother of two and active in her community, she has recently completed a degree in Interior Design and both initiated and directed the first German Film Festival in San Diego.
Pierre Camoin - Board Of Directors Treasurer, Chairman of International Committee In the late 80s, Pierre Camoin started his professional career organizing Short Brain and Festival Attitude; two skate, music and art events in Montpellier, France. In 2009 he co-founded the Big Wave World Tour, part of the World Surf League, an annual global big wave surf event. It was in California that he met Keep A Breast’s (KAB) Global CEO Lorène Carpentier and Founder Shaney jo Darden; inspired by their energy and commitment, he started participating in KAB’s local events. A husband, surfer, hiker and outdoor enthusiast, he strongly believes that education and early prevention are an integral part of the solution to breast cancer. Currently Pierre is a marketing executive at the FSP Group BV / Eastward Sports -- the manufacturer and distributor of multiple freestyle scooter brands.
Keva Dine - Board Of Directors Member Keva Dine is one of the nation's top creative recruiters in part because she is a creative herself. She’s been tasked with tracking down a VP Global Brand/Creative for DC Shoes; an Account Coordinator to work on Apple’s account for the tech giant’s agency of record; a senior photo/art director for Target’s Midwestern advertising; and a Trend Hunter/Brand Strategist for a globally recognized, New York-based think tank, among many others.The San Diego native founded The Keva Dine Agency, inc. in 2001 and made her first placement three weeks later with RipCurl. She’s since built a sterling reputation as a creative connector. A fan and supporter since inception, Keva made her involvement official and joined the Keep A Breast Board Of Directors in October of 2016.
Russel Brown - Board Of Directors Member President of Consumer Products, Promotions and Media Sales at Valiant Entertainment, a Comic book based multimedia company, with the third largest library of superhero intellectual property worldwide. Russ is responsible for the post-bankruptcy start-up and management of the three principle areas of revenue beyond domestic publishing for both the comic book based IP and upcoming mass media and digital programming. He launched the first merchandising program in the 25 year history of the company, and within 36 months had over 75 licensed and promotions partners covering all major categories including videogames, apparel, accessories, domestics and collectibles. He also introduced the published IP to the international markets in print and digital distribution to expand the brand awareness pre-film and TV.
